Crypto, DeFi & Stablecoins
Stablecoin issuances, yield and lending protocols, and protocol risk across the onchain economy.

I build AI agents for cross-border payments. So businesses stop overpaying abroad.
Currently
Most businesses paying abroad take one bank's quote and never learn what they lost. SwapEazi builds AI agents for cross-border payments, for businesses paying into or out of Africa and other emerging markets. The agent knows a company's payments and watches the rates, fees, rule changes and events that move them, across banks, FX firms, payout networks and stablecoin rails. Before the company pays, it shows the full picture, as a guide, not advice.
It holds a payment when a known supplier's bank details suddenly change, a common trick in supplier fraud. When AI agents pay, it holds them to the company's own budgets, limits and approvals, with a signed audit trail, in fiat or in stablecoins. Each payment is kept as a case, from intent to a signed decision receipt to what landed, so finance can rebuild any decision later.
SwapEazi never touches the money and takes no fee on flow. The company's own bank or provider moves it; SwapEazi's independent, signed evidence is licensed as data to the firms that need it.
01 / About
I'm a Technical Product Manager and fintech founder based in the Netherlands. I take products from idea to launch in regulated payments and crypto, where compliance shapes the product as much as the code does.
Product. I own a product end to end: discovery and user research, PRDs and roadmaps, delivery with engineering, and go-to-market. I write specs engineers trust and spot delivery risk early. SwapEazi is the proof: I took it from idea to a live product.
Banking. I spent a decade inside regulated payments at Nedbank, Absa, Investec and NS, including core-banking rollouts in five SADC markets. That taught me where the cost and risk hide on the corridors European firms find hardest to pay into.
Crypto, DeFi and stablecoins. This is my strongest area. I evaluate new stablecoin issuances, the yield and lending protocols behind them, and where protocol risk actually sits. More recently I've been working on AI governance in the onchain economy and real-world assets (RWA).
Compliance and risk. I understand payments compliance to the core: KYC and AML, sanctions screening, licensing, and where the real risk sits on each leg of a payment. I know how the rules and regulators differ by region, including the stablecoin and crypto rules now taking shape: MiCA, the GENIUS Act, the CLARITY Act and the Travel Rule. That knowledge is built into how SwapEazi checks what is allowed before a company pays.
The gap I'm building for. A bank quotes a rate and measures it against a benchmark it chose itself. Nobody independently tells a business what its payments abroad really cost. SwapEazi publishes an independent, signed number that nobody else combines, so a buyer in London and a supplier in Kampala can trust the same figure.
SwapEazi is also a platform for secure, compliant business payments in stablecoins. It prepares each USDC or USDT payment within the company's own budgets and limits, checks the rules on both sides, including the Travel Rule, and profiles the stablecoin's peg, reserves and contract risk. A named person approves every payment, the company's own wallet signs it, and the payment is verified on-chain with a signed audit trail.

02 / Work
An obligation registry for cross-border corridors: for any country pair where value moves, what obliges you on each leg, what changed since you last looked, and what every fact is sourced to. Coverage spans the 16 SADC markets and the EU–South Africa corridor.
The evidence comes from real applications made by an operating company, not desk research. It is graded across five tiers, with every gap published as prominently as the findings.
An AI model reads the provider correspondence, but it is never a source: a schema, a human and a publish gate decide what counts as true. The controls are mapped to NIST AI 600-1.
